ok the thing here is that i personally thing something needs to be implemented so that when the mud crashes the mort players dont lose items, or cash…..two days ago i lost an entire set of implants do to a crash and because of the help reimb file im shit outta luck…..it took me 3 months to get all those implants because they were all perfect…i dont think that it is fair that im implantless because something cause the mud to crash before i had time to save…i mail the admins and they told me basically that i was sol…i talked to another imma and he said i should recieve new implants…so apparently things need to be discussed and worked out cause im being told two different things

I agree that something should be done to ensure that specific changes will cause a character to save. Among these should be gold and cash deposits, implantation, and retrieving a corpse.

I also think corpses should save through crashes, but who knows how they can work that one out. When a character dies and a demon junks his hammer of Mjolnir because it's blessed, fine. But when a character dies and loses all of his equipment, wiz enchants, imm attracts, quest prizes, and perfect equipment and implants, !break eq and +4 dam enchants, etc., because of a bug – he should not lose his stuff at all.

Every now and then freak things occurr and you lose all your shit. Like, I dunno, maybe a bigass hurricane. It's beyond anybody's control, it's not fair, and it sucks. That's life, welcome to the ballpark gentlemen, wear a helmet if you like, it won't save you. Lets be glad Tempus isn't more realistic, in that once a character dies he's buried.

I don't mean to be cold, but these freak occurences are actually good for the game, good for eq prices, and gives people something to do. Everybody I've known who gets to gen 10, with their perfect eq, and manages to go unscathed and keep it for a long time ends up quitting out of boredom. Sitting ontop of the world isn't playing, and when you're not playing… Well, it doesn't take long before you're not even logging in :p

Ask any gen 10 if he has a problem getting gold or new eq, and we all know he doesn't.. It only hurts the little people trying to start playing again and invest something in Tempus, like Dolza and I.

Im gen 10. I dont have a problem getting gold or EQ. However, if i lost all MY eq in a crash, i would raise hell. Imm enchants, attracts, oedits (even though they are reimbursed) and perfect hell eq is hard to get.
