combo
Rahvin Posted 15 May 2005

if a monk is fighting more then one mob, and he combo's, and the mob dies halfway through the combo, it should start hitting the next mob. that'd make much more sense.

Doesn't this already happen? I swear I saw it happen yesterday.

never happens to me.

If you are fighting multiple mobs, and you combo one, and it dies, it goes to the next. I just saw it in La'morga yesterday with Monk Stormbringer.

Monk Stormbringer being Magnus Woundweaver :p

Just to clarify, combo if it kills a mob without using all of it's hits does not move onto another mob. It doesn't however impose the full wait state.

For example a good combo consists of 9 strikes. If you hit a mob with this and it dies (or not) you suffer the full wait state.

If you hit a mob with a combo and it dies in less than 7 strikes the wait state is lowered…and if it dies in just 5 or so, it's very quick.

So while it doesn't "move onto" another target if you're fighting multiple mobs, I personally prefer the way it works now :p
