Rahvin | Posted 15 May 2005 if a monk is fighting more then one mob, and he combo's, and the mob dies halfway through the combo, it should start hitting the next mob. that'd make much more sense. |
Merriam | Posted 18 Jul 2005 Doesn't this already happen? I swear I saw it happen yesterday. Merriam |
Rahvin | Posted 18 Jul 2005 never happens to me. |
Merriam | Posted 18 Jul 2005 If you are fighting multiple mobs, and you combo one, and it dies, it goes to the next. I just saw it in La'morga yesterday with Monk Stormbringer. Merriam |
Elric | Posted 19 Jul 2005 Monk Stormbringer being Magnus Woundweaver :p Just to clarify, combo if it kills a mob without using all of it's hits does not move onto another mob. It doesn't however impose the full wait state. For example a good combo consists of 9 strikes. If you hit a mob with this and it dies (or not) you suffer the full wait state. If you hit a mob with a combo and it dies in less than 7 strikes the wait state is lowered…and if it dies in just 5 or so, it's very quick. So while it doesn't "move onto" another target if you're fighting multiple mobs, I personally prefer the way it works now :p |
