Haste curing slow | |
---|---|
Kitano | Posted 9 Aug 2006 Slow sucks. Dispelling slow removes most of your other spellups. This sucks too. What if haste got rid of slow? Temporal compression doing the same, and when slow is cast it gets rid of haste instead of just stacking in the same way that confidence gets rid of fear and intellect gets rid of confusion. Since everyone seems to have haste already from eq, it gives the spell a new use. Plus, it makes sense. |
Narcissus | Posted 29 Aug 2006 Lets get rid of haste eq too while were at it. |
Kitano | Posted 29 Aug 2006 As much as I disagree with your general philosophy of nerfing affects on eq, Narc, I kind of agree with you on this one. Haste is one of the best skills out there and should be reserved for phyz and mage. Those who choose those classes as secondary should be privy to that awesome skill, but as it stands, it is FAR too easy to get. The haste eq that's out there is also too good. There are no downsides to wearing them. The belt gives strength and the implant gives dex and LOTS of hitroll! That's a little overpowered if you ask me. |
Cast | Posted 2 Sep 2006 well i would insist on making the special stuff for the primary classes only… since u got lots of mage and phyz secondaries… and think up of other special stuffies for the other classes as well. like monks, barb, thief and ranger… man i haven't seen any recent post about them… the complainies are all the ppl with casting attacks…(and with align) |
Deneb | Posted 2 Sep 2006 I've come to shoot down another idea. Just kidding. I'll at least tell you my standpoint on this subject. No, casting or altering any version of haste should not remove slow. The spell or alteration itself already has much use, you're just not using it because you don't know what it's good for. I can 100% guarantee you that any immortal will agree with me on this. =D |
Narcissus | Posted 5 Sep 2006 Haste. Huah What is it good for? Bored at work :P |
