Riffe | Posted 2 May 2008 Cook - World-traveling, realm-traversing chef extraordinaire! Main roll (haha, get it) - Support class (as in actually supporting the party, and not like the bard that ends up able to KILL the entire party.) The baker uses its MP and Movement to bake delicious pastries that satiate the party's hunger while increasing their weight. Purchasing items from a bakery, the baker has the ability to create rolls, cakes and other goodies by learning new recipes. Skill List: Level 1 - Bake - Necessary to make things. Level 2 - Sneak - For when you don't want people to know you're baking. Level 5 - Mixing - Useful for mixing ingredients. Level 10 - Plant - For planting pastries as a surprise (like a birthday or something) Level 15 - Brew - Used to brew teas, coffees, ales, etc. Level 25 - Double Attack - see double attack in game. Level 28 - Chop - Doubles as a fighting move, as well as a practical way to prepare ingredients. Level 30 - Dozen - Start baking in batches of thirteen to fulfill the party's needs. Level 35 - Triple Attack - see triple attack in game. Level 40 - Poison Food - When you feel like playing dirty. Spell List: Honestly, a plethora of favorite foods and whatnot can span levels 1-49. i.e. Level 10 - Sandwich (50 MP) - Restores 50 HP and MP when consumed. Level 26 - Iced Latte (80 MP) - Gives adren. Restores 20 MP. Remort Skills/Spells: Level 40 - Gen 1 Skill - Advanced Cooking - Make more foods with half the ingredients needed. Level 30 - Gen 3 Skill - Party Planning - Have food effects double while leading the party. Level 28 - Gen 4 Spell - Gingerbread Man - Create a cookie fighter to assist you in battle. Level 35 - Gen 6 Spell - Adv. Gingerbread Man - Create a BETTER cookie fighter to help you out. Level 40 - Gen 8 Spell - Gingerbread Housing - Create a shelter that boosts the restoration rate of the party (great for long zones) IMAGINE THAT! R*3 |
Riffe | Posted 2 May 2008 Excuse my typos– baker = cook. |
Blagg | Posted 2 May 2008 I love the idea. Would it be fair to give this cook class access to all weapons though? It seems pretty silly to give it any weapons except bludgeon and slashing. Also, it would be pretty cool if the cook had something like an aroma skill that would entice mobs to eat poisoned food. Awesome ideas, Riffe! -Blagg… |
Tower | Posted 2 May 2008 If its a future class, there can be all sorts of skill chips that can be used with a skill chip interface implant to load and unload different useful recipe books for the cook class. |
Deneb | Posted 2 May 2008 HAHA, awesome. |
