So its like the day before the entire company goes off to gunnery with their silly tanks. 2 tankers come running to me asking me to fix their sights because its blurry. I'm sitting here thinking, they started servicing their 12 tanks about 2 months ago, and they are asking me THE DAY BEFORE THEY GO SHOOTING to fix the sights.

So because they asked me i had to go check out their tanks. The first tank sights was so dark that it litterally looked like you were wearing shades. The second one had similar problems.

Now i could have easily told them to pull out the sights and bring them over to my van so i could fix it there (which would take them a few hours) or i could crawl around in the tank and clean up their mess. Well since i didnt felt like being a total ass, i decided to crawl around in the tank.

I took apart the sights in the tank and found that one of the lens to be totally coated with desicant. I thought for a moment why there would be a layer of powdered desicant all over the lens, so i decided to check out the desicant itself… Apparently some dickhead didnt change out the desicant regularly and the old desicant just crumbled into dust…. all over the lens.

So i'm stuck there sweating my ass off in the tank cleaning up after their mess all day long. I hate myself for not being a total jackass sometimes.

PS I hate tankers.

However, tankers on Tempus are nice to have around.
