Anyone who has played Psion and used telepathy knows how useful it can be. People are always all over the place, different times and planes, etc, and having a skill that allows you to send and receive a tell no matter where you are is helpful. I think there should be a helmet that gives Telepathy. I've always envisioned something like Cerebro from X-men as an example, but that's just me.

That sounds like a pretty cool idea. Still, if people really wanted to have communication between planes, they can have cell phones. Of course, that's only under planned circumstances. I like the helmet idea better.

That would rock for sure. The thing is, we need some more zones. I heard a rumor that the future was going to be re-vamped. Personally I would like to see alot of old zones come back. Oddy, Gheena, Olympus and so on…

Still in favor of adding both fly and telepathy to the gainer for those who really want them. Maybe 20lps each? More?

It could possibly be a special gainer who can only be used by remorts, gen 5 chars or gen 10 chars.

I'd vote for telepathy from the gainer, but not fly. I think fly equipment should be put back in, non class restrictive. My understanding was that fly equipment was taken out to be replaced by some other method of movement, or flying donkeys or something, but that never happened. So until that happens, I vote for flight equipment going back in.

Most communication channels are pretty open even to other planes now, so telepathy isn't as big a deal as it once was. Having said that, it can be useful for people not in your clan or for private communication. Considering it is just a convenience thing, unlike hunger and thirst which have an affect directly on gameplay, I don't see why it shouldn't be able to be permanently gained.
