I was thinking something like this could pop up after you select a character. You just need to click enter (or any other key) one more time to get past it but it promotes our manual, Facebook page, etc. Could be redesigned of course.

Sorry about the mess.

The idea doesn't hurt. Maybe for new account creation, rather than new character. No need to see this when making a multi.

Just to note, Aardwolf the #1 mud in the world has a page almost identical to this one whenever you log in on a character.

That's actually what was called the "news" page from the old circlemud code. Tempus removed it at some point, probably when they put in player accounts, and just went to the in-game system for news that we have now. I think putting something of that sort back in and turning it into a Tempus promo page would be a good thing.

Just want to bump this up. I think something like this would be a really valuable addition (or re-addition) to the mud.

It would be fine that it only happens when you log into your account. Not per character.
