I found it pretty useful for new players, this along with Scorch's Wrath of Tempus page.

Does anyone still update the Wiki? For a lot of new players, having a message upon login or to get this manual out to newbies will make it much easier for them to figure out how to enjoy the game.

I think having more info on the classes, and which skills to use will be most helpful. I like the entries for the Ranger, with Stoneskin and Thornskin being highly recommended. That makes it easy.

I really like how for skills it shows the pros, cons, and benefits of it. I think an example would help for some skills. For example: http://tempusmud.net/wiki/pmwiki-2.2.0-beta65/pmwiki.php?n=Main.PipeMaking

For pipemaking it talks about the pros/cons/benefits, but by reading it, I still really do not know what it does. With training costing a lot of money, as a new player I may not be able to toy with skills or spells.

This makes it hard for new players to build their characters or even to explore. On the other hand, when I see a skill like the Thief's stun entry, it gets me excited about leveling up to 35 to get stun.

I hope that the wiki can get updated and be introduced to new players.
